In 2019, at the Saari Residency, Robert made a ball out of limestone found on site. Inside the ball, we installed a microphone and used it as an instrument. After the residency, Christian took the ball to Austria and made the series of videos you are watching now. In each episode, another sanding paper is used to rub down closer to the microphone, shaping the ball into a cube.
